Pricing
How the price is set
No price is posted here because bathrooms differ. This is how the one you get is made up.
What moves the price
Five things move the price of a bathroom, and most are visible at the first visit.
Where the drain is, and whether a floor must be cut.
How big the shower is and whether it has a step.
What is behind the tub wall once it is open.
Which fixtures you choose.
Whether the plan adds a bar, a seat or a half wall.
What the price includes, and what it leaves out
The price covers the work written in the plan: the plumbing, the blocking, the fixtures we install, and hauling away what comes out.
Not included unless the plan lists them: floor or wall tile, paint, electrical work and a new vanity.
Permit fees are on their own line.
What happens at the first visit
The first visit has a fee, and we say what it is on the phone. If you go ahead with the plan, the fee comes off the price of the work. Your therapist's time, or Patrice Eason's, is billed by her practice and is separate from ours.
After hours
We work weekdays by appointment, and we do not book nights or weekends, so there is no after-hours charge. For water running now, call a plumber who works nights.
When you get the number
In writing, after the first visit and before any work starts. It is a fixed price for the work in the plan. If opening the wall changes the job, we stop, show you, and write down the change first.
